TERMS OF USE

Pitchfaced is a free party game you play in the browser while watching soccer. By hosting or joining a room, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't play — we'll be sad, but we'll understand.

Drinking mode is only for players of legal drinking agein their jurisdiction — 21+ in the United States, 18+ or higher elsewhere. If you're under the legal drinking age, you're welcome to play the clean mode.

The host of a room is responsible for making sure everyone playing a drinking mode is of legal age.

Pitchfaced is a game, not a dare. Nothing in this app ever requires you to drink alcohol:

• Any drink can be non-alcoholic. Water counts. Soda counts.
• Skip any card, any time. No exceptions needed.
• Know your limits and stop before you reach them.
• Never drink and drive. Plan a ride before the match starts.

You are solely responsible for your own consumption and conduct. By playing a drinking mode, you assume all risks associated with consuming alcohol.

Keep it fun for everyone:

• Don't use nicknames that impersonate others or that are hateful or harassing.
• Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Don't use the app for anything illegal.

We may close rooms or block access for abuse, at our discretion.

If paid upgrades are available (like the Tournament Pass), they unlock features on the device that made the purchase, for the period described at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. If something goes wrong with a purchase, reach out and we'll make it right.

Pitchfaced is an independent fan project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to FIFA, the FIFA World Cup™, or any national team, league, club, broadcaster, or governing body. All team names are used only to identify the match you're watching.

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. Rooms auto-delete on a schedule, live scores depend on a third-party feed, and we don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free — especially during a World Cup final.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pitchfaced and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including anything that happens at or after your watch party. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which, for most of you, is zero).

We may update these terms; the date at the top reflects the latest version. Continuing to play after changes means you accept them.
